 About CURE Ethiopia

CURE Ethiopia has been a place of hope since opening its doors in 2008. As a teaching hospital in partnership with The College of Surgeons of East, Central, and Southern Africa, we are multiplying the next generation of healthcare workers through our residency and fellowship training programs. With 70 beds, four operating rooms, and an outpatient clinic, we provide both world-class medical care and minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of patients and their communities.

Recognized for Excellence

CURE Ethiopia has been awarded SafeCare Level 5 accreditation, the highest distinction for consistently implementing treatment guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Medical Services

Our hospital provides diagnostic exams, pre- and post-op evaluations, medications, lodging for patients and caregivers, assistive devices like wheelchairs and crutches, physical therapies, biblical counseling, and more.

Before Surgery

Compassionate care begins before surgery with a complete medical exam, education and counseling for patients and families, and even time for fun and play.

Surgical Care

Every life-changing surgery is performed by world-class surgeons to heal treatable conditions like clubfoot, cleft palate, or bowed legs.

After Surgery

After surgery, healing continues with post-op evaluations, physical therapies, counseling, rehab services, assistive devices, and even fun with time for play and learning about God’s love.

"CURE provides free orthopedic and reconstructive surgeries as well as rehabilitative care for children with different disabilities. They also play a key role in the training of specialists in the field through affiliation with COSECSA and our universities."
Dr. Lia Tadesse | Former Minister of Health of FDRE
